A stimulant, legally used for treatment of ADHD and Narcolepsy under the name of Desoxyn. It creates a feeling of euphoria, causing the eyes to dilate. The user may become very talkative and restless, often tinkering with objects for hours on end. The person may become paranoid, thinking someone is watching him/her and become hyper-vigilant. In withdrawal, the person sleeps and eats a lot, feels depressed and often experiences anxiety and craving. This drug is very prevalent especially in the Inland Empire. It may be snorted, smoked, or injected. It’s use is usually characterized by weight loss, lack of sleep and often criminal behavior.
